Meet Sormeh

Founder | Creative Director

Sormeh Salimpour grew up utterly emmersed in the world of design. Her career began at fashion PR firm People’s Revolution, and then as an assistant to celebrity stylist Monica Rose, where she worked closely with celebrity clients such as Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian. Pivoting her career, she has spent the last 10 years working alongside her mother, interior design & landscape architect powerhouse, at their design firm. With years of hands-on experience working on multi-million dollar projects, with invaluable mentorship, Sormeh knew it was time to launch her own venture, Interiors by Sormeh.

An innovative and unique thinking creative professional, Sormeh pulls from her variety of experience across fashion, design, and PR. Mixing investment pieces with transitional items is what Sormeh believes to be the key to making the most of your interiors potential.

Meet Dalton

Director of Design Operations

Dalton grew up in a small town in southern New Mexico where he strived to immerse himself in all aspects of design.  With 10 years of experience in project management and business operations, Dalton’s career has danced around interior design with experience as a showroom designer for a nationwide furniture brand, working with contractors one-on-one to build custom homes at a big-box retailer and consulting on custom build projects in southern NM.  

Having resided in southern New Mexico, southern Florida, and Denver, Dalton’s exposure living in these different regions, combined with his experience in a variety of areas within the design industry gives him a unique and diverse design perspective. 

Dalton’s day-to-day inspiration comes from how great design can positively affect how his clients live their day-to-day lives. His aesthetic is inspired by clean lines, visual interest moments, and layered inviting spaces.
